Acupoint Injection Therapy

The state of Florida licenses Acupuncture Physicians with advanced training to inject any Vitamins, Herbs, Homeopathic remedies and natural substances. This is a large part of my practice as it is very effective for many ailments such as pain, facial rejuvenation and chronic conditions. Some popular injections are Vitamin B12, Traumeel and Homeopathic Collagen. All  requirements for the State of Florida are met.

Natural Anti-Aging Treatments

Homeopathic Anti-Aging Injections using a small insulin needle injecting natural remedies in the acupuncture points on the face help produce collagen, decrease lines and add elasticity.  This may also be done on body parts of choice such as the hands or neck. Scarring and blotches may also be reduced.  Acupuncture facial rejuvenation using the Mei Zen protocol are a series of sessions using tiny acupuncture needles inserted in facial points to reduce lines, improve elasticity and promote collagen. Microcurrent Color Light treatments are relaxing, gentle sessions using low level electricity with light (this is not Laser) on the face to improve muscle tone, improve Qi flow and reduce lines.  This treatment includes facial and foot massage.  All treatments are in sessions of 6 or 12.  Free consults are recommended.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is an energetic form of remedies that stimulate your body to heal itself.  It is often prescribed in conjunction with acupuncture and herbs.  It is most often taken in oral doses, but also may be used in a topical form or injections under the skin.  This treatment has no side effects and is used to treat ailments such as pain, anti-aging & weight loss.

Tui Na

Tui na means "pushing grasping," and is a powerful form of Chinese medical bodywork. Based on the same Oriental medical principles as acupuncture, tui na seeks to improve the flow of qi through the meridian channels. Tui na is particularly effective for conditions involving muscles, tendons and joints, such as structural misalignment, orthopedic problems and sports injuries. It can also be used to treat internal diseases.

Cupping

Cupping is an ancient technique, used in many cultures, in which a special cup is applied to the skin and held in place by suction. The suction draws superficial tissue into the cup, which may either be left in place or moved along the body. Cupping brings fresh blood to the area and helps improve circulation. Traditional cupping, sometimes referred to as “fire cupping," uses heat to create a vacuum-like suction inside of glass cups. In modern times, cups that use a small pump to create suction have also been introduced.

Combinations of acupuncture, herbs and homeopathic remedies are incorporated to set up an individual plan of treatment to help you lose weight or quit smoking or substances. 

Infertility, Pregnancy & Pediatrics

It has been proven that acupuncture in addition to western medical treatments increases fertility by 60%.   Acupuncture and herbs can help the patient safely become pregnant. Treatments are individually based in a relaxing environment.

Children benefit greatly with acupuncture.  Taking the fear of needles into consideration, I use a painless microcurrent treatment to stimulate points treating asthma, allergies, focus issues, sleep issues and general well being. With my first degree in Early Childhood Ed, I love children and they are welcome in my practice!!!

Many women experience symptoms during pregnancy. From nausea to back pain, acupuncture can help to safely heal the expecting mother so she can enjoy being pregnant. Specific care is taken to treat points that are proven safe during pregnancy.
